# Stripe Express vs Baremetrics

The clearest difference is rating: Stripe Express at 4.7 against Baremetrics's 2.3. Stripe Express also leads on ratings volume (30K vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Stripe Express holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stripe Express has 30K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Stripe Express's written reviews are positive against 33% of Baremetrics's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stripe Express ships an update every 2 weeks, Baremetrics every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
