# InPaper vs Light Wallpaper

The clearest difference is rating: Light Wallpaper at 4.4 against InPaper's 4.0. Light Wallpaper also leads on ratings volume (25 vs 1) and device support (5 vs 2). InPaper's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 52%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InPaper sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year and Light Wallpaper sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Light Wallpaper holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Light Wallpaper has 25 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of InPaper's written reviews are positive against 52% of Light Wallpaper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

InPaper ships an update every 3 weeks, Light Wallpaper fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
