# Airthings vs Vienna Connect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Airthings at 33% against Vienna Connect's 0%. Airthings also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (3K vs 12). Vienna Connect's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vienna Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Airthings has 3K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Airthings's written reviews are positive against 0% of Vienna Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Airthings ships an update every 2 weeks, Vienna Connect every 4 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
