# PrimePay vs Sage HCM Time

The clearest difference is rating: Sage HCM Time at 3.0 against PrimePay's 2.0. PrimePay's advantage is ratings volume (128 vs 1) and review sentiment (21% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sage HCM Time holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PrimePay has 128 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of PrimePay's written reviews are positive against 0% of Sage HCM Time's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PrimePay ships an update every 2 months, Sage HCM Time every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
