# DP vs AI

The clearest difference is rating: AI at 5.0 against DP's 4.2. AI also leads on ads (none vs shown). DP's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 50%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AI sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of DP's written reviews are positive against 50% of AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DP ships an update fortnightly, AI every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
