# Dragon Hunter AR vs Zoologic

The clearest difference is rating: Dragon Hunter AR at 5.0 against Zoologic's 3.9. Dragon Hunter AR also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Zoologic's advantage is ratings volume (180 vs 2) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dragon Hunter AR sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Zoologic sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dragon Hunter AR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zoologic has 180 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dragon Hunter AR ships an update every 2 weeks, Zoologic every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
