# Icon Changer vs Share Widget

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Icon Changer at 100% against Share Widget's 25%. Icon Changer also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Share Widget's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.5) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Icon Changer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Share Widget sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Share Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Share Widget has 93 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Icon Changer's written reviews are positive against 25% of Share Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Icon Changer ships an update every 6 weeks, Share Widget every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
