# Funxtion vs Personal Pieter

The clearest difference is update cadence: Personal Pieter at every 3 weeks against Funxtion's every 12 months. Funxtion's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Funxtion ships an update every 12 months, Personal Pieter every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
