# VPN Rapid vs BestStable VPN

The clearest difference is rating: BestStable VPN at 4.3 against VPN Rapid's 3.7. BestStable VPN also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (500 vs 51). VPN Rapid's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Rapid sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and BestStable VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BestStable VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BestStable VPN has 500 ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of VPN Rapid's written reviews are positive against 81% of BestStable VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN Rapid ships an update every 2 weeks, BestStable VPN every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
