# Teach Me Arabic vs Talky

The clearest difference is rating: Talky at 4.4 against Teach Me Arabic's 3.3. Talky also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks) and ratings volume (32 vs 4). Teach Me Arabic's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 33%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teach Me Arabic sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Talky sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Talky holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Talky has 32 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Teach Me Arabic's written reviews are positive against 33% of Talky's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Teach Me Arabic ships an update every 4 weeks, Talky weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
