# TDPT vs GeoTechLive

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GeoTechLive at 100% against TDPT's 29%. GeoTechLive also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.8) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). TDPT's advantage is ratings volume (288 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TDPT sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and GeoTechLive sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GeoTechLive holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TDPT has 288 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 29% of TDPT's written reviews are positive against 100% of GeoTechLive's.

TDPT ships an update every 4 months, GeoTechLive monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
