# SeeReal vs DOR

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SeeReal at 98% against DOR's 36%. SeeReal also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). DOR's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.0) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DOR holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 98% of SeeReal's written reviews are positive against 36% of DOR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SeeReal ships an update every 4 days, DOR every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
