# Samorost 1 vs The Bear

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Samorost 1 at none against The Bear's 4. Samorost 1 also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). The Bear's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 225). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Bear sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Samorost 1 asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Samorost 1 against 4.6 for The Bear. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Bear has 1.1K ratings behind it against 225, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of Samorost 1's written reviews are positive against 78% of The Bear's.
