# NX MobileAir vs CardRunner

The clearest difference is rating: CardRunner at 5.0 against NX MobileAir's 2.5. CardRunner also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). NX MobileAir's advantage is ratings volume (28 vs 4) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NX MobileAir sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.49 per month and CardRunner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CardRunner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NX MobileAir has 28 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NX MobileAir ships an update every 3 months, CardRunner weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
