# Trekka vs Local Link

The clearest difference is ads: Local Link at none against Trekka's shown. Trekka's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Trekka ships an update fortnightly, Local Link every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
