# Lyricistant vs Book Creator

The clearest difference is rating: Book Creator at 4.5 against Lyricistant's 4.0. Book Creator also leads on ratings volume (3.9K vs 3). Lyricistant's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Book Creator sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Lyricistant asks for nothing beyond the download.

Book Creator holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Book Creator has 3.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Lyricistant's written reviews are positive against 44% of Book Creator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lyricistant ships an update weekly, Book Creator every 4 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
