# MatesPlace vs Three+

MatesPlace and Three+ both sit at 3.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 57% of MatesPlace's written reviews are positive against 20% of Three+'s. MatesPlace also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). Three+'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (33 vs 3). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MatesPlace sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Three+ asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.7 for MatesPlace against 3.8 for Three+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Three+ has 33 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 57% of MatesPlace's written reviews are positive against 20% of Three+'s.

MatesPlace ships an update every 4 weeks, Three+ every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
