# King Test Prep Companion vs VOR Simulator Pro

The clearest difference is ratings volume: King Test Prep Companion at 2.4K against VOR Simulator Pro's 19. King Test Prep Companion also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6). VOR Simulator Pro's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

King Test Prep Companion holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: King Test Prep Companion has 2.4K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of King Test Prep Companion's written reviews are positive against 100% of VOR Simulator Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
