# Wallpapers Maker + vs Freckle

Wallpapers Maker + and Freckle both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Freckle's written reviews are positive against 71% of Wallpapers Maker +'s. Wallpapers Maker +'s advantage is ratings volume (141 vs 13) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wallpapers Maker + sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Freckle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Freckle holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wallpapers Maker + has 141 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of Wallpapers Maker +'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Freckle's.

Wallpapers Maker + ships an update every 4 months, Freckle every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
