# Makeover Race vs Avatar World

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Avatar World at 69% against Makeover Race's 38%. Makeover Race's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Makeover Race sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Avatar World sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Makeover Race holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Makeover Race has 11K ratings behind it against 466, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Makeover Race's written reviews are positive against 69% of Avatar World's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Makeover Race ships an update weekly, Avatar World monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
