# EqForecast vs Earthquake tracker

The clearest difference is ads: Earthquake tracker at none against EqForecast's shown. EqForecast's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EqForecast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month and Earthquake tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
