# Usage vs Didget

The clearest difference is rating: Usage at 4.6 against Didget's 4.1. Usage also leads on ratings volume (252 vs 13) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). Didget's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 65%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Usage sells 22 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Didget sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Usage holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Usage has 252 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Usage's written reviews are positive against 73% of Didget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Usage ships an update fortnightly, Didget monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
