# BM6 vs IPSTube

The clearest difference is rating: IPSTube at 4.5 against BM6's 3.3. IPSTube also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 weeks). BM6's advantage is review sentiment (46% vs 25%) and ratings volume (18 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IPSTube holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BM6 has 18 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of BM6's written reviews are positive against 25% of IPSTube's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BM6 ships an update every 5 weeks, IPSTube every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
