# The Big Slice vs Al Sufara

The clearest difference is update cadence: Al Sufara at every 2 months against The Big Slice's every 5 months. Al Sufara also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Big Slice ships an update every 5 months, Al Sufara every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
