# Barbell Run vs Big Makeover

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Barbell Run at 100% against Big Makeover's 18%. Barbell Run also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 18.0). Big Makeover's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (15K vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Big Makeover holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Big Makeover has 15K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Barbell Run's written reviews are positive against 18% of Big Makeover's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
