# Dymino vs General's Gambit

The clearest difference is ads: General's Gambit at none against Dymino's shown. Dymino's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dymino sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and General's Gambit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dymino ships an update every 10 days, General's Gambit every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
