# Qafyah vs BaAlwi

The clearest difference is rating: BaAlwi at 4.8 against Qafyah's 4.0. BaAlwi also leads on ratings volume (936 vs 2). Qafyah's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BaAlwi sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per month. Qafyah asks for nothing beyond the download.

BaAlwi holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BaAlwi has 936 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Qafyah's written reviews are positive against 97% of BaAlwi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Qafyah ships an update fortnightly, BaAlwi every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
