# Pro Camera RAW vs eyeVue

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: eyeVue at none against Pro Camera RAW's 7. eyeVue also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Pro Camera RAW's advantage is ratings volume (684 vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pro Camera RAW sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. eyeVue asks for nothing beyond the download.

eyeVue holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pro Camera RAW has 684 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pro Camera RAW ships an update every 6 days, eyeVue monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
