# Pro Camera RAW vs NOV Player

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NOV Player at none against Pro Camera RAW's 7. NOV Player also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). Pro Camera RAW's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (684 vs 4). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pro Camera RAW sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. NOV Player asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Pro Camera RAW against 4.5 for NOV Player. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pro Camera RAW has 684 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
