# Maxx vs CelcomDigi

The clearest difference is rating: Maxx at 3.4 against CelcomDigi's 3.1. CelcomDigi's advantage is ratings volume (147 vs 7) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Maxx holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CelcomDigi has 147 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Maxx's written reviews are positive against 19% of CelcomDigi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
