# ZTK vs Nextin

The clearest difference is rating: ZTK at 5.0 against Nextin's 3.4. ZTK also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Nextin's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (625 vs 2). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nextin sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. ZTK asks for nothing beyond the download.

ZTK holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nextin has 625 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ZTK ships an update every 12 months, Nextin fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
