# WeNote vs Note Fold

The clearest difference is update cadence: Note Fold at every 3 days against WeNote's every 2 weeks. Note Fold also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WeNote sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Note Fold sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WeNote ships an update every 2 weeks, Note Fold every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
