# DNS & IP Changer vs DNS Optimizer

The clearest difference is ads: DNS Optimizer at none against DNS & IP Changer's shown. DNS & IP Changer's advantage is review sentiment (51% vs 25%) and ratings volume (12K vs 81). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DNS & IP Changer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and DNS Optimizer sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for DNS & IP Changer against 4.7 for DNS Optimizer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DNS & IP Changer has 12K ratings behind it against 81, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 51% of DNS & IP Changer's written reviews are positive against 25% of DNS Optimizer's.

DNS & IP Changer ships an update every 3 weeks, DNS Optimizer every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
