# gjNotes vs Havit

The clearest difference is update cadence: gjNotes at every 6 weeks against Havit's every 4 months. gjNotes also leads on iOS requirement (17.5 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. gjNotes sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Havit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

gjNotes ships an update every 6 weeks, Havit every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
