# gjNotes vs Notes & Quotes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notes & Quotes at every 2 weeks against gjNotes's every 6 weeks. Notes & Quotes also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. gjNotes sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Notes & Quotes sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

gjNotes ships an update every 6 weeks, Notes & Quotes every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
