# AFOQT Tutoring vs ForgeEQ

The clearest difference is monetization model: ForgeEQ at free with in-app purchases against AFOQT Tutoring's subscription. ForgeEQ also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). AFOQT Tutoring's advantage is ratings volume (676 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AFOQT Tutoring sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per month and ForgeEQ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ForgeEQ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AFOQT Tutoring has 676 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AFOQT Tutoring ships an update every 4 months, ForgeEQ every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
