# SHRM Certification Exam Prep vs SHRM Exam Prep

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SHRM Certification Exam Prep at 75% against SHRM Exam Prep's 21%. SHRM Exam Prep's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SHRM Certification Exam Prep sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and SHRM Exam Prep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SHRM Exam Prep holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SHRM Exam Prep has 782 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of SHRM Certification Exam Prep's written reviews are positive against 21% of SHRM Exam Prep's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SHRM Certification Exam Prep ships an update every 8 months, SHRM Exam Prep monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
