# PHOKI vs mumbler

The clearest difference is rating: PHOKI at 5.0 against mumbler's 4.0. mumbler's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PHOKI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 96% of PHOKI's written reviews are positive against 100% of mumbler's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PHOKI ships an update every 2 months, mumbler every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
