# Butt Talks vs PooPal

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Butt Talks at none against PooPal's 5. Butt Talks also leads on review sentiment (82% vs 60%). PooPal's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PooPal sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Butt Talks asks for nothing beyond the download.

PooPal holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PooPal has 71 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Butt Talks's written reviews are positive against 60% of PooPal's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Butt Talks ships an update every 4 months, PooPal fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
