# Inness Golf vs Shot Pattern

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Inness Golf at none against Shot Pattern's 8. Inness Golf also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Shot Pattern's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shot Pattern sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Inness Golf asks for nothing beyond the download.

Inness Golf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shot Pattern has 2.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Inness Golf ships an update every 3 months, Shot Pattern every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
