# iPixel Color vs FaceLink

The clearest difference is rating: FaceLink at 4.7 against iPixel Color's 2.9. FaceLink also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). iPixel Color's advantage is review sentiment (29% vs 12%) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FaceLink holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 468 and 362 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of iPixel Color's written reviews are positive against 12% of FaceLink's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iPixel Color ships an update every 9 days, FaceLink every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
