# Meteor vs PERSISTENT Reminder

The clearest difference is rating: PERSISTENT Reminder at 5.0 against Meteor's 4.5. PERSISTENT Reminder also leads on ads (none vs shown) and device support (4 vs 2). Meteor's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (147 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Meteor sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and PERSISTENT Reminder sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
