# Resume Maker⁺ vs Resume Builder PDF

The clearest difference is ads: Resume Builder PDF at none against Resume Maker⁺'s shown. Resume Builder PDF also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). Resume Maker⁺'s advantage is review sentiment (30% vs 17%) and ratings volume (643 vs 92). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Resume Maker⁺ sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Resume Builder PDF sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Resume Builder PDF holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Resume Maker⁺ has 643 ratings behind it against 92, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Resume Maker⁺'s written reviews are positive against 17% of Resume Builder PDF's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Resume Maker⁺ ships an update every 6 weeks, Resume Builder PDF every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
