# Breathe Tech vs Boldr Energy

The clearest difference is rating: Boldr Energy at 4.4 against Breathe Tech's 3.0. Boldr Energy also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (164 vs 9). Breathe Tech's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 31%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Boldr Energy holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boldr Energy has 164 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Breathe Tech's written reviews are positive against 31% of Boldr Energy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Breathe Tech ships an update every 8 months, Boldr Energy every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
