# Tricky Race! vs Shape Shifter

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Shape Shifter at 15 against Tricky Race!'s 3. Tricky Race!'s advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tricky Race! sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Shape Shifter sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Tricky Race! against 4.5 for Shape Shifter. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shape Shifter has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
