# Pinochle vs Mind Heist

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mind Heist at 100% against Pinochle's 42%. Mind Heist also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Pinochle's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 5) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pinochle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mind Heist sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mind Heist holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pinochle has 2.1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 42% of Pinochle's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mind Heist's.

Pinochle ships an update every 9 days, Mind Heist every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
