# Then vs Focus Now

The clearest difference is rating: Focus Now at 5.0 against Then's 4.7. Focus Now also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 88%). Then's advantage is ratings volume (24 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Then sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Focus Now sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.39 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
