# Inprogress vs Vagaru

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vagaru at every 3 weeks against Inprogress's every 5 months. Inprogress's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.4.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inprogress sells 23 one-off in-app purchases and Vagaru sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Inprogress ships an update every 5 months, Vagaru every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
