# Rocket Hands vs Sqube Darkness

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Rocket Hands at 80% against Sqube Darkness's 36%. Rocket Hands also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Sqube Darkness's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (32K vs 91). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sqube Darkness sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Rocket Hands asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sqube Darkness holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sqube Darkness has 32K ratings behind it against 91, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Rocket Hands's written reviews are positive against 36% of Sqube Darkness's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rocket Hands ships an update every 6 months, Sqube Darkness every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
