# CoinKit vs AQUA Wallet

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CoinKit at 100% against AQUA Wallet's 57%. CoinKit also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). AQUA Wallet's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 2.3) and ratings volume (78 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AQUA Wallet holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AQUA Wallet has 78 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of CoinKit's written reviews are positive against 57% of AQUA Wallet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CoinKit ships an update every 2 weeks, AQUA Wallet every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
